YMCA OF CATAWBA VALLEY 2024 ANNUAL CAMPAIGN KICKOFF

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: JANUARY 5, 2024

(January 2024) The YMCA of Catawba Valley is thrilled to announce the kickoff of its annual campaign at three separate branches, marking the beginning of a season of community support, engagement, and transformative impact.

This year's campaign, themed "Our History Is Now. Building Our Future." aims to raise awareness and funds to support the YMCA's mission of nurturing the potential of every child, improving the health and well-being of our area, and giving back to the community.

The campaign kickoffs will take place at the following YMCA branches:

  • Hickory Foundation YMCA Kickoff Event:
    • Date: January, 16, 2024
    • Time: 12:00 pm
    • Location: C.O. Miller Teen Center 701 1st Street NW Hickory, NC 28601
  •  
  • Adrian L. Shuford Jr. YMCA Kickoff Event:
    • Date: January 17, 2024
    • Time: 12:00 pm
    • Location: 1104 Conover Blvd E, Conover, NC 28613
  •  
  • Phifer Family YMCA and Burke County School Aged Programs Kickoff Event:
    • Date: January 25, 2024
    • Time: 12:00 pm
    • Location: 2165 S Sterling St, Morganton, NC 28655

The campaign kickoff events will feature inspiring speakers and success stories to engage the community while showcasing the YMCA's commitment to building a healthier and stronger community. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the various programs and initiatives supported by the campaign.

Members, community leaders, and supporters are invited to attend these kickoff events and join the YMCA of Catawba Valley in celebrating the start of this impactful campaign.
